What is one word or phrase that best describes what you bring to the team?
Empathy. I have worked as a leader in companies without caring for the person as a whole and I currently work in a company where I get to shape the company culture, hire, and train the staff to understand “assume positive intent” and have empathy for others while accomplishing our goals and serving our customers.

What is something that makes MCCCC special?
The staff. The staff is a group of hardworking humans that also have great hospitality. We have a diverse group of people working together to grow in their field while offering an exceptional experience. We offer a full service venue in a rural area. Our entire staff is cross trained, and the entire staff Front of House and Back of House work together- this is something that doesn’t usually happen in service industries. Lastly, all are welcome to work in our facility- it’s part of the interview process. We want to ensure that everyone feels valued and safe in their workplace but we employ various people and some that include: people that want second chances when re-entering the workforce, working with the local high school culinary program and hire students, and we hire adults with disabilities that value working independently while working with Vocational Rehabilitation.
